Factory Improvement Consulting · China

You lose the order during the visit. Not because of the product.

您在参观中失去订单,而问题不在产品

European and American buyers arrive with realistic expectations. They still decide against the order, and rarely because of the product. It is the small mismatches a visit exposes: habits, culture, a showroom showing the wrong products. Simple points, but they decide the order. I find them, and help you fix them before your next buyer arrives.

What I Do

Three services, one transformation.

One consultant. From the first email a buyer sends to the goodbye at your factory gate, every moment of the visit is shaped.

01 — Assess

Assess

评估

I spend a full day at your factory, arriving exactly as a European or American buyer would. I assess 12 specific touchpoints: the gate, the host, the meeting room, the showroom, the production floor, the QC area, lunch, samples, the goodbye. You receive an 18-page report with photos, scores per touchpoint, and a clear ranking of what is costing you orders today.

02 — Improve

Improve

改造

Once we know what is wrong, we fix it together. Redesigning your showroom so it actually sells. Fixing the meeting room layout. Upgrading signage. Rethinking how you present samples. I provide specs, sketches, and supplier recommendations. Your team does the work. I check progress.

03 — Train

Train

培训

The best factory still loses orders if the host is not ready. I coach the people who meet your buyers (your host, sales team, and translator) on what European and American buyers expect. Specific phrasing, body language, dress, and etiquette. From the first email to the goodbye at the gate.

How It Works

Four steps. One transformation.

From the first conversation to the visit that wins the order. You always know what is happening next.

01 — Call

Discovery call

free, 30 minutes

A short conversation to understand your factory, the buyers you are losing, and the buyers you want to win. If it is not the right fit, I tell you upfront.

02 — Visit

The visit

1 day, on-site

I arrive at your factory exactly as a European or American buyer would. Announced or unannounced, your choice. I assess all 12 touchpoints from the gate to the goodbye, take photos, and score every detail.

03 — Report

The report

within 5 days

18 pages. Photos. Scores per station. A clear ranking of what is costing you orders today, plus a 90-day plan your team can act on this week.

04 — Implement

Implementation

optional, 90 days

Monthly check-ins, supplier recommendations, host coaching, and a final follow-up visit before your next buyer arrives. I stay until the visit lands the order.

12 Stations

Twelve stations. One buyer journey.

Each station is a touchpoint where a buyer forms a judgement. We score every one, photograph every weakness, and write the fix into your 90-day plan.

Questions

Questions I get asked most.

01

What is a Buyer's-Eye Assessment?

A factory visit conducted as a European or American buyer would conduct it, scored across 12 touchpoints and 60+ criteria. Unlike a compliance audit, it works for you, not for the buyer.

02

How long does the assessment take?

One day on site at your factory. The 18-page report, with photographs, scores and a 90-day plan, follows promptly after the visit.

03

Does the factory know in advance?

Your choice. We offer announced and unannounced visits. The unannounced format produces the sharpest results, since nothing gets staged for the day.

What buyers see

What European and American buyers actually notice

Buyers rarely tell you why they walked away. These are the things they register, often without a word, that quietly decide whether the order is placed.

The first ninety seconds

The gate, the welcome, and whether anyone was expecting them.

The host

Whether they can follow the conversation, and trust the person leading it.

The room

Whether the meeting space was prepared for them, or borrowed for the hour.

The showroom

Whether it shows the products they came for, or everything at once.

The floor

Whether the operation feels in control of itself.

The follow-through

What happens, or does not happen, in the days after they fly home.

About

One consultant. 24 trips in China.

I spent years on the buyer side, walking factories across China for European and American clients. I watched good factories lose good orders, again and again, because nobody had ever sat them down and explained what the visit actually looked like from across the table.

Guanxi Bridge is the work of one person. That is intentional. You deal with the same assessor who wrote the report, walked your floor, and trained your host. No handover, no junior consultants.
